CAPGEMINI AIE + REMODISTA's ILAB and WOMEN2WATCH PROGRAM

Capgemini's Applied Innovation Exchange teamed up with Remodista’s iLab and Women2Watch program to help cultivate smaller innovative tech and services companies in the retail vertical and in Remodista's community.  Great job ContentSquare, SmartGift, TILTSTA, Facenote, FINDMINE, and Trendalytics!

In this workshop, we:

• Learned about some of the disruptive technologies that are driving disruption in the retail landscape
• Gained exposure to potential partners that can accelerate time-to-value and de-risk innovation investments
• Brainstormed ways of developing value-add solutions with organizations led by some of the industry’s most forward thinking leaders

Goals of the workshop:

• Embrace diversity and inclusion within Capgemini, while enhancing their current and potential ecosystem 
• Incorporate ideas and solutions being developed by entrepreneurs
• Showcase Capgemini's point of view on the “Store of the Future” and can marry it with current startup initiatives
• Evaluate, Question, and determine the readiness and applicability of various firms to Capgemini’s business with its clients
• Leverage ecosystem partners and new ideas to drive innovative retail solutions

Outcomes from the workshop:

• Exposure to new innovation ideas and firms in retail
• Determine  near term opportunities for implementing innovation.
• Generate ideas for running a PoC or working together for a particular solution or client GTM
• Experiment with methods for continually engaging with out-of-the-box startups allows our partnerS to think through the services these new innovative ideas will need, in order to be supported.
