We are heading into Remodista’s Global Community Day celebrating with the 3rd Annual Women2Watch Award Show, that is focused on Women leaders who are solving the future of business.  In 2018 our W2W had over 65 keynotes and presentations in Melbourne, Copenhagen, San Francisco, Austin, Sao Paulo, Las Vegas, New York, Mexico City, and NYC talking to the future of retail and finance. This year, we have our Community Day happening in New York City  and Sydney, Australia, and see a growth path that opens up UK and Germany in 2019.

Innovating Through Research and Education

One of the facets that makes Remodista unique is our emphasis on collaboration and retail innovation through research. For our event in the US, we have added an educational element called the Collective Think. It’s a tool that measures innovation within a room, group, or organization. This year’s Collective Think will take place in New York, and we’re gathering 60 leaders across retail, technology and finance to discuss commerce, customer experience, artificial intelligence and the internet of things. We are excited to share where the innovation lies in our community of pioneer thought leaders.

Look for insights and data over the next six weeks.

After a Community Day that educates, innovates, and collaborates, we have created a warm environment that celebrates the Women2Watch leaders who have helped solved the future of business and move the needle forward.

We are excited to share this year’s 10 finalists from the US and Australia:

These women have all stood out as pioneer dreamers and builders who are solving business challenges that help us think through the future of retail and finance. While they are working through their challenges we are helping them hone their messages and test their assumptions. This allows them come to conclusions, and own space as a thought leader tied to innovation in the industry.

A BIG Congratulations to these impressive leaders who are helping to define the future of business coming from many different areas of business within the industries of technology, retail and finance.

The 5 Innovation Award Winners will be announced on Sept 20th in Sydney and NYC.

The iLab: Connecting our Women2Watch honorees, innovative technology companies, and enterprise consultancies to build lasting partnerships focused on innovation

This is our second year building on the Innovation Lab, which we now fondly call it the iLab.  Short, sweet, and to the point. We like it. The iLab consists of Women2Watch honorees who are building innovative companies and pushing boundaries with product innovation and services. This year’s iLab features forward-thinkers who have broken new ground with wearables, accessories, technology and solutions such as Dresscode, Ettitude, Naadam, Scentinvent POMPOM, LookyLoo, and Smartgift. There are also larger global partners, like OSF Commerce, Capgemini and Salesforce, who are able to put time and money into R&D, and have enterprise level solutions that help our traditional retailer take big steps into the future of retail. The last group is our smaller innovative tech companies, like Attraqt, ContentSquare, Nisum, Tiltsta, NoiseGrasp, and Grow Marketing who are developing cool new technology products and services that are impacting the retail industry.

What is unique about our Innovation Lab is that everyone is sharing their initial inspirations and/or designs that lead to the creation of a product or service that is or soon will disrupt or innovate the market.  Each partner has a unique story to tell, and at the same time, each is unveiling something new in their product line or technology capability. You won’t find more of the same; instead, you’ll be hearing about innovations that are on the cusp of happening or have just been released in the market.

Can’t attend? Listen to a live recording of Fashion is Your Business, broadcasted from the iLab!

Throughout the day, we will be covering a variety of topics on Fashion is Your Business with MouthMedia Network.
Podcast topics include:
  • Your Voice and Branding: Importance in Storytelling with Dr. Wendy LeBorgne + Monika Tockstien from New York & Company
  • Visual Innovation and Retail with Kerry Fitzgibbons from Duggal + Leslie Leifer, from 1800 flowers.com
  • Integration into Legacy Systems and the Cloud with Becky Hsu from Capgemini + Janet Beasley from our Retail Committee
We cover innovation from visionary to early consumer adoption, and help it move over the wall into early mass consumer adoption. We built a community where the pioneer leaders eagerly put their hands up to try new things. This is largely because they know we have vetted the partners who deliver what they sell. In addition, our partners are aligned with our purpose to educate brands, cultivate women leaders and connect globally.

We are thrilled to spend this day in an environment that educates, collaborates, innovates, and celebrates! Follow us on Facebook to hear the Award Winners announced live on Sept 20th.
